April 2, 2004, Taipei, Taiwan-China Airlines has joined forces
with Taiwanese fixed-line telephone operator sparq to offer tempting
incentives to the more than 1 million members of its Dynasty Flyer
frequent-flyer program.
Dynasty Flyer members who apply for sparq service and make an
international phone call within 30 days can earn 500 free air
miles. In addition, sparq users can earn an extra 10 miles for
every NT$100 they spend on the phone service each month.
The new mileage partnership with sparq is evidence that China
Airlines works constantly to provide its frequent-flyer members
with additional benefits. CAL!|s new partner sparq is an innovative
high-tech company that is linked to SingTel, a 120-year-old Singaporean
telecommunications operator that ranks number one in Asia in terms
of service and operation.
Besides earning mileage through actual flights on China Airlines,
Dynasty Flyer members can also generate mileage by flying on partner
airlines, using credit cards, renting cars and booking hotels.
Currently, there are about 1.5 million adult and junior members
in Dynasty Flyer Program. Members can start to enjoy seat upgrades
in Asia with only 10,000 miles. Interested passengers can apply
