China Airlines Introduces E-Menu
Jan. 2, 2004, Taipei, Taiwan- Starting January 1, China Airlines introduced innovative !§e-menu!‥ to its system wide route network. The main course pre-order service via China Airlines!| corporate website (www.china-airlines.com) was first introduced to Taipei-Tokyo service on November 1 and has received very good feedback ever since. From now on, China Airlines passengers can order the main courses of their in-flight meals even before takeoff.

The e-menu service is now available to First and Dynasty non-group class passengers. Except flights to and from Amsterdam, Rome, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Phuket, Seoul, Hong Kong and Manila, all other China Airlines destinations can provide e-menu service. If there are two or three meals during a flight, all the main courses of these meals can be selected via Internet before the flight departure. The new service enables passengers to preview the choices of in-flight meals and make their meal selection before hand.

China Airlines corporate website provides most extensive e-service in Taiwan. In addition to e-menu, there are on-line booking, e-check-in, e-shopping, flight schedule, flight status and airport service. When the demand of special meals arise, passengers can also pre-order vegetarian and kosher meal via on-line booking function.
