Mileage Accumulation

When flying with a qualifying fare on a regularly scheduled flight or additional flight operated by Hong Kong Airlines or Hong Kong Express Airways (charter flights and co-share flights are excluded), DFP members may accumulate the flown mileage on their CI's accounts.

To ensure the HX or UO mileage is accumulated correctly, DFP members should advise their membership numbers to both CI and HX or UO personnel when making reservation, ticketing, and checking in at airport counters. The mileage will be credited to member's account within 4-6 weeks.

* The required mileage for UO & HX free ticket award is calculated on two-point basis.
If an itinerary includes a stopover or transit, the mileage required must be added together.
Example:
A passenger flies from Chin Chuan Kang to Hong Kong, than transit to Beijing on Economy class round trip ticket. Assuming that neither flight involves blackout dates, it needs 40,000 miles for a round-trip ticket between Chin Chuan Kang and Hong Kong, and another 40,000 miles for a round trip ticket between Hong Kong to Beijing, therefore, the total mileage required for such journey from Chin Chuan Kang and Beijing via Hong Kong would be 80,000 miles.

Redemption Procedure
1.
According to specified mileage required, DFP members are entitled to one way or round trip free ticket awards for traveling on self-operated, scheduled Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express Airways flights of some specific regions under the designated code ''HX'' & ''UO'' .
