Qualification :
Dynasty Members who earn a specific amount of flight mileage of scheduled international flights on China Airlines, Mandarin Airlines and any SkyTeam coded and operated flights can upgraded as Gold Members after fulfilling one of the following requirements within a 12-month period.
To celebrate China Airlines joining SkyTeam, a special promotion of qualifications towards obtaining Elite status levels is launched from September 29, 2011 through September 30, 2012. Please click here for the promotional qualifications for elite membership.

 
1.Accumulate 40,000 miles; or
2.Log a record of 10 eligible flights in First or Business Class on China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines; or
3. 24 qualified weighted trips on China Airlines, Mandarin Airlines and SkyTeam applicable flights: Weighted trip count on China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines: each ticket class of Y/B/T/M/K/W/V/R/ Q/H/N/Z/I/D counts as 1 weighted trip, J/C/U as 1.5 weighted trips, and F/A as 2 weighted trips.

Following conditions are excluded from these qualifications:
(1) Trip count between Taipei and Kaohsiung, and between Sung Shan and Kaohsiung.
(2) First Class or Business Class taken by using discounted tickets or free tickets.
(3) Trip counts of Business Class taken by using award upgrade.
(4) Flights and mileage earned from co-share flights when China Airlines, Mandarin Airlines and SkyTeam member airlines are not the operating party.
   
 

Validity Period :
  • Two years

Gold Membership Renewal :
  • Within the 24-month (2-year) term;
    1.Accumulate 55,000 miles; or
    2.Log a record of 20 eligible flights in First or Business Class on China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines; or
    3.40 qualified weighted trips: each ticket class of Y/B/T/M/K/W/V/R/ Q/H/N/Z/I/D counts as 1 weighted trip, J/C/D as 1.5 weighted trips, and F/A as 2 weighted trips.
*. If due to an unforeseen circumstance, the new membership card is not received, the validity of original card will be extended by another month.
*. If the renewal requirement is not reached, a Gold Member will automatically revert to Dynasty Member. The card number will remain unchanged.
